I was the first person you ever bought flowers for
and those were the first flowers I ever received,
at least romantically

I like that

They were a little sad, but still cute
two lonely Gerber Daisies
One yellow
One orange
bundled up in 3 layers of newspaper against the cold

The colors didn’t match well

but there was one for me
and one for you
